Below are images of the custom bars we have fabricated as well as a brief story of their genesis.
This is the Original Bar built and designed by Alessandrini Design. The bar was built for a longtime friend and creative that wanted something special and custom for their beach home. Working with the client in developing size and shape to fit the space, we took their ideas and elevated them with a light-up translucent top and stacked facade to highlight the levels and custom shape of the bar. The bar is made from a plywood core and custom wood-grain laminate. The service side features a wood-grain laminate counter and a black laminate interior with shelving and storage.
This is a similar bar to The Original that was built for a client that saw the original and loved the design so much they wanted one. They requested different finishes, but the design was the same.
This is an outdoor bar I built for my wedding. We needed another bar for the cocktail hour at the venue, and I wanted to build it. This bar is constructed of hand-cleft Red Oak wood blocks in a staggered pattern that were attached to the plywood wall. It was then topped with an Ash slab with a pour coat of marine grade epoxy to protect it. While the inside is strictly plywood and functional, it was the hand-made exterior that caught the eye of all guests.
